Mwalimu Nyerere Museium hosts various items connected to Mwalimu Julius Nyerere`s life time. The items include those which he received during the struggle for his country’s independence, those given as gifts during his presidency, personally used in his farm in his home village of Butiama, received as he was stepping down from the presidency in 1985
