The National Museum of Tanzania is the combination of five Tanzanian museums. Their main aim is to provide general information concerning the history of Tanzania and the general view of natural environment in which the ancient people of Tanzania lived. This association was established in 1934 by Tanganyika governor Harold MacMichael and other four four museums decided to join and make a consortium of five museums. The national museum of Tanzania play a great role of preserving both tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Tanzanian people in making sure that all the important information concerning a certain phenomena is being provided, as well as the history of more than 120 ethnic tribes found in tanzania relying on their traditions, cultural elements, norms and values
